PromptTrainTerms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the PromptTrain app and related services (the "Service"), provided by Apps by Ash Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Not medical advice
PromptTrain gives general fitness and training information for education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified trainer.
- Talk to a doctor before you start any exercise programme, especially if you have an injury, a health condition, are pregnant or have not exercised in a while.
- Stop straight away and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or anything else that worries you.
- Recovery scores, heart rate variability and other figures in the app are estimates. They are not medical measurements.
3. Suggestions, not prescriptions
Sessions, exercises, weights, rest times and assistant answers, whether produced by fixed rules or by AI, are general suggestions. They are not prescribed for you by a professional and may not suit you. AI output can be wrong or out of date. Exercise instructions describe one common way to do a movement, they are not a check of your form, and they may not match your equipment. You decide what is safe for your body. If you are unsure how to do an exercise, get in-person guidance from a qualified professional.
4. Exercise carries risk
Exercise has a risk of injury, including serious injury. By using the Service you accept that risk. You confirm that you are able to take part in the activity suggested, or that a doctor has said you can.
5. Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for your account and what happens under it. You must be at least 16 to use the Service. Do not misuse it, try to get around usage limits, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. Plans and subscriptions
The Service has a free plan with limits and a paid plan called Plus. The limits for each plan are shown in the app and on our home page, and may change.
PromptTrain Plus, auto-renewing subscription
- Price: £4.99 per month. The price shown in the App Store when you subscribe is the price that applies to you, including any local tax.
- Length: one month, renewing monthly.
- What it includes: up to 6 gyms, unlimited session builds, 100 equipment photo scans a month, assistant chat with a monthly allowance, and the muscle groups view.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the current price.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your App Store account settings after purchase. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions and choose PromptTrain. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Deleting your PromptTrain account does not cancel it either.
- After you cancel: you keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds: purchases are made through Apple, so refund requests are handled by Apple under its own rules. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring: if you reinstall or change device, use Restore purchases in the app.
We may change prices or plan features. We will not charge a new price to an existing subscriber unless Apple's rules for price changes have been followed, which may include your consent.
7. Links to other sites
The Gym Upgrades feature links to products on Amazon UK. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. You buy from Amazon, not from us, and Amazon's terms apply to that purchase. See our affiliate disclosure.
8. Our content
The app, its design, text, exercise demonstrations and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial training. Please do not copy, scrape or resell them.
9. Our responsibility
The Service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will give you any particular result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage that comes from your use of the Service, including from doing any exercise it suggests. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app does not meet a warranty, you can tell Apple and it will refund the purchase price of the app where the law requires. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you. You must also follow the terms of your Apple Media Services agreement.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. We may change or stop parts of the Service. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where the law requires, tell you in the app.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away any rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
